I am a stay at home mum with 2 young boys who will be 3 and 1 this November. I have no gardening experience although I have been trying to gather some knowledge to help get me started. As the back garden needs to be left basically untouched for the boys to play I have decided the small garden and border at the front are mine!

All I have at the moment is a very sad looking hydrangea which I think needs to be planted from its pot and a small bay tree which was a mothers day present! I am hoping to pick up tips and advice from other gardeners here to help create my little haven.
