Hi, I'm Richard, 42, living in a beautiful part of rural East Sussex.

I have a pretty large garden that demands lots of work including a 2.5 acre woodland and 1 acre of garden. I love being outside either pottering about, trying to tame the constant weeds or creating new areas of interest !

We've been here 4 years now and I am gradually starting to put my stamp on parts of the garden but it's an enormous job. I quickly learnt that you can't hold back nature (and especially the brambles in the woods) so I try to do what I can and enjoy it.

Despite having all this space, I love my plants in pots including my treeferns and gunneras, hence my GOY Name.
