About me
I live in Laurencekirk. The garden is big -about 3/4 acre. Very clay soil which is poor drained in winter and cracking hard in the summer - plants dream!!
Also have a veg garden which is just getting off the ground which I have deep dug and getting opened up with dung.
Lots of beasties to watch eating all your good work.
I really go for evergreen shrubs in the garden which gives you a feeling of growth all year rather than the dead twig feeling at the winter months.
We have a new house in shetland too. Amazing spot and a different out look with a planting plan.
Soil is poor acid, shallow with rocky out crops and we have strong winds when they come.
Really looking forward to getting the garden started with plant out to match the croft surroundings and we have plenty of stone for walls and rockerys.
Its a blank canvas so any ideas from all of you would be great. Nice to bounce off idea's with this very challenging garden.
Thats it - Neil
