Hello every one – I hope you’ve had a good and productive summer. I’ve been out of action for a while – had a new titanium shoulder fitted so now am a bionic woman!!!!
Friends have been great while I’ve been out of action and I’m just building up the muscles and tendons now so I can get on with things. I’m waiting just now for my garden help John to arrive and help me put a number of things to rest and move one or two plants & shrubs that have outgrown their space. It’s not untill you can’t do things that you realise how much you need two hands when gardening – still it also makes you realise how lucky I am compared with some folks who have a lot more to put up with than me.
I’ve brought my lemon tree inside this weekend and hope the second crop of lemons are as good as the first – the orange tree I had at the same time has not done much at all except flower and smell nice – no fruit at all. My Arum lily didn’t flower again this year – it gave lots of healthy leaves but not a sign of any flowers. It was this plant that first introduced me to GOY when I wrote asking for help – still haven’t got the answer but what joy in seeing all your lovely plants and gardens and meeting great people. I’ve put the lates pic of the lemon tree on here this morning (the orchid is in its second bloom of the year!!)
Bye for now – Pat

Thanks Mad - so there's hope for my Arum yet!! - I'll not dig it up then! - physio yesterday was pleased with my progress - I'm a bit impatient so he told me to slow down as I've been doing too much according to his rules of recovery!!!! got to learn to do as I'm told!! lol

Welcome back bionic Woman .. I mean mzgreenfingers.
Hope you won't try to go too fast Your new shoulder will be a blessing soon I'm sure.
Hope your Arum flowers next year, mine has just flowered for the first time, at the start of October. So now I have hope for next year. I had given up. Nothing at all last year, so maybe yours will flower next year. Certainly worth waiting for.
All the best and go from strength to strength.
