I was exploring the end of my trails that I had cut through the woods and spotted an absolutely beautiful native flower in the fields.
Does anyone know what it is?

Look at this link below it shows many different thistles http://www.british-wild-flowers.co.uk/T-Flowers/Thistle. It could be a meadow thistle, Cirsium dissectum. You may be able to id yours from that site. Please let us know what it is. It is a beautiful colour.
