First "test plantings" for the season!

I have heard that planting during a full moon might be beneficial, so I decided to test the theory with two plants that my wife gave me.
One was a romo tomato plant in a 4 inch pot and the little guy now resides in the pot that I grew a fabulous “cherry tomato” last summer. It was planted using the traditional
method of watering the transplant and putting it into the soil:
“Test plant #2” is a “sweet bell pepper” that has been "bare rooted " into its’ container. I pulled the plant out of it’s 4 inch container and totally removed all of the soil from the roots, then soaked it in a mild mixture of compost tea for about 30 minutes before planting.
I took the the time to carefully unwind and spread the small roots outward, under the water, so that plant’s roots will have a maximum contact area with the soil.
Here’s the little guy in his new home:
This will be an interesting “test”!
We’ll see what happens.

Good luck. I have thought of trying that, but never actually done it. Got interested after looking at Moongrowers blogs. Might have to try it soon.
