New baby in the garden!

My rose bush collection pictured below, has a new addition!

I had most of the common colors except violet..
Meet little “Angel Face Rose” that has a new home, and has been given the up-most organic care during her planting this weekend. She was totally bare-rooted into the native soil and was given a nice hand-full of worm castings and compost tea into her “planting hole” to get her up and running:

She’s starting to lose that “nursery bloom” that was propelled with synthetic fertilizers and poor potting soil and her leaves are looking very robust in her new home.
The native soil in my rose garden is an older organic treatment area and has had a couple of years to develop the proper soil microbial and mocroizial fungal balance that roses love.

I have a feeling that my new addition will thrive and “show off” just like the rest! ;-)

Ladybug47 I also have a yellow climber and just love it!
Last year it produced a 6 inch diameter bloom that was in a bloom cluster located near the end of the longest branch.
I'll have to look up that photo and post it.. ;-)
