Monster Zucchini!

Last year’s intense organic bed prep has finally paid off with my very first yellow zucchini that I have ever tried to grow. I had no idea what a zucchini plant looked like or how they grow, but this thing produced this whopper this week:
I included a few items for a size reference, including my ham radio HT and a standard paper towel, along with “smokey”, that was very interested in “helping”. {chuckle}
Smokey just loves anything that I bring inside from the gardens. :-)
I cannot wait to eat this monster! The zucchini plant also has three more pups that are also in the early developmental stages and might produce another series of big ones. I just love it!
