Cousin "IT" had an unwelcomed visitor!

My huge morning glory mound called “Cousin IT” had a huge sunflower growing in the middle of the morning glory vine. I looked around the bottom of the area that “IT” grows in and low and behold, a huge stem that was larger than the morning glory stems. I lopped off the weed level with the ground and pulled it out of the “IT” mound. Interesting, the morning glory had not yet grown on the sunflower stem and all 4 feet of it pulled right out!
I just wonder how that sunflower got into my organically grown morning glory planter? Birds? Interesting to watch…
Ding, ding, ding! {slapping his forehead!} Could it be that I have Sunflowers growing RIGHT next to “Cousin IT!”? Humm… Could be! {chuckle}
