Holy "before and after" batman!

While doing a little routine cleanup on my computer I unearthed what is probably the earliest photo of my backyard when our new home was being built and cannot believe that it has come so far in only two years..
This is what the builder gave me to work with after the house was finished:
The little tree still had the orange “save this tree flag” on it and was looking pretty lame. Since then, that lone “saved tree” has become my “baby” and has received the most intense organic tree treatment program that you can imagine. I have worked with the “drip-line” soil intensely and planted a little bed to help beneficial microbes enhance the soil around the tree’s base.
Of all of the plants that I have in the backyard, this one is the largest and has always received the latest organic growing technology to help it grow well and thrive.
The hard work has paid off after two years and look at it now!
This is the same area of the backyard and the tree has gotten WAY too huge to fit into a photo! Gotta love it! :-)

This was too cool!
I measured the tree's new trunk diameter and it has put on a full TWO inches of diameter in just 2 years! The height has increased by 12 feet and the drip-line now sits at a whopping 20 feet vs the original 8 feet.. Amazing what plants can do!
