Tree experiment update!

Earlier I had been experimenting with two twin trees to see which potting soil was better: “Scotts water control potting soil” VS my own mix of highly amended organic potting soil.
The little “Scotts tree” has gone into such a severe distress state, that tomorrow I will have to intervene and dry root it into the organic potting soil mix to see if I can save it. In just 5 days, it had lost 4 branches to the dreaded “brown leaf syndrome”. Here’s a pic:
Tomorrow that should change after I give this sick little guy the “home of his dreams”!
I’ll be posting the progress of the “tree recovery treatment” using organics and we’ll see what happens. :-)

Hit my latest blog Mookins!
I went WAY overboard to save the little "scotts tree" and it should be one HAPPY camper in about a week or two!
