Oh boy, oh boy! A new "toy"!

This little guy was found at the local Ace Hardware gardening center for only 99 cents in a badly root-cramped 2" pot:
Of course I did the full organic dry-rooting process into a 6 inch container and did the initial hydrating with a mix of 2oz. per gallon of Garrett Juice and also 5 cap-fulls of Thrive to get the ’lil guy kick started in his new home. Once the roots start growing into the super rich organic potting soil, this will be one “happy camper”!
I also picked up a bag of that great organically grown red hardwood mulch that composts so well and completed the last of the sick tree treatment to my Crepe Murytle to help it get through the winter in good shape:
This treatment will give the little tree a 4-7 degree hardness advantage when things get near freezing in the coming months. Very cool how all of this works!
