New "cat toy"!

Our two new cats have been draining their water dish daily and my wife found this great “cat tender” device that works a lot like one of those commercial Ozarka office water dispensers:
It has an upright water container to hold the water and keeps the drinking bowl at a constant level. What a neat little “cat toy”!
Our cats would often run out of water in the middle of the night and venture into our bedroom in the middle of the night and remind us about the problem! {chuckle}
They hop up on the water-bed and start attacking the sheets and anything that moves underneath to try and wake up “Mom and Dad” to address the “water shortage” problem. This usually occurs around 6:00 am or earlier. {chuckle}
Tonight will be the first test of the new “watering bowl” and we’ll see what happens early tomorrow morning. {grin}

The new watering "toy" has worked like a champ and the little boys now have a constant source of water and just love it! I need to build something like this for my plants! {chuckle}

N2, did you know that cat biscuit makes a cat drink more, and with wet meat they need slightly less water ?
I've just bought a new biscuit ('Applaws') and my two are now drinking alarmingly large volumes of water ..... it seems a bit suspect to me so i'm returning them to meat and just twice a week they have that biscuit.
