Peppers in the ground!

Today, I planted 80 “onion plants” and a few other assorted peppers in the backyard:
The bulbs are under the ground, but the other peppers were 4 inch pots that I picked up from the local hardware store.
We should have a great assortment this growing season! They were all planted in a rich organic environment and should do well this season..

Having some "rain issues" Viv1?
I have had more rain here in central Texas that I've seen in years..
The problem here is that the constant rain has caused the soil to go "anaerobic" and that slows down the earthworm population along with the microbial fungi that helps plants absorb nutrients. Hopefully I'll get a week or two that is dry, so the nitrogen in the atmosphere replenishes the root zones in all of my plants.
That "wet" and "dry" cycling is critical to plant growth!
That is why plants that are watered too often often develop problems such as gnats, early blight in tomatoes, and webworms in trees.
