I moved from Newlyn , Cornwall to a concrete slabbed garden in central London this April and am trying to turn it into a green oasis so it not only looks beautiful but so that it also hushes the noise around me .
This is my 1st time at planting up a garden from scratch , having to think about the aspect when i am surrounded by tall buildings and that my garden is about 5 foot below street level . Its seems to hold the heat in summer and then the cold in winter .
I cant wait to see my garden " grow " .
