Waiting for Santa

This week I have been like a kid waiting for Christmas. After two months, the fence is finally arriving today and weather permitting I can put back all the plants that have been stored in pots around the garden. I can finally press “send” on the new ones I want to order and I can stop spending my days on this website and get out and do some real gardening. Yesterday they rang to confirm and at last I could count the hours instead of the days.
Except this morning they rang to say the fitter is sick and now they can’t come till 17th March.
I feel like the little girl that Santa forgot :[

Ah thank you for that Marybells. There is a slight compensation as I have just found the buns and donuts by OH bought for the fitters. I am now comfort eating away my disappointment. :]

Oh bless your heart, how disappointing is that, might I suggest hubby doesn't buy the treats for them, then they'll turn up and he'll have to tell them he was prepared and as they never turned up last time the birds had to have them instead, lol..That'll teach them....

As long as it cheered you up Nan thats all that matters, the weather has turned colder again here, if its like that for you as well, your plants will be quite happy where they are at the moment and you have an excuse for being on here instead of outside, lol...

no he is off to the Maldives for a holiday, I did know he was leaving tomorrow. They are a good firm and there are only a few of them and it is one of them that is sick So I just have to be patient
