i am 47 and have recently been given a green house and i want to grow my own veg and flowers, am married to keef for 28yrs, and we live by the sea in bridlington, we only have a back garden it is 60ft long and about 30ft wide
we have only been here for 3and a half years so its work in progress, chopped down well my husband daughter and her partner did chopped down 30ft high laurel bushes which were at the bottom of our garden which threw half of our garden into shade, now completely open have planted buddleija, black bamboo and grasses at the back to screen us from the neighbours at the back we all get on well, but its nice to have a little bit of screening and i can manage this by cutting them back after flowering
