About me

I'm retired after 27 years with American Airlines, and find myself finally getting intrested in gardening and minor ( and I do mean "minor") landscaping. My problem is I don't know that much about either one of them.

I live in a suburb about thirty miles west of Chicago, the front of my house faces East, the back of it West ( of course) I planted six Russian Sage bushes near the foundation in the back yard about two years ago, now I would like to transplant them to the side of the house and replace them with wiegala bushes. Is now the best time to transplant them? I have four of the wiegala bushes in the nursery containers waiting to be put into the ground.
They are about a foot and a half high. If it isn't the right time to transplant one and start the other, when will it be?

Thank You
