My garden is in the wilds of Highland Scotland where the weather is always a challenge. Frost is the killer and I lose plants every year although I am getting better at knowing what can survive and what can't - quite a list! I concentrate on hardy shrubs, perennials and alpines which do well here. For me, the garden is my favourite room in the house.
