Out for a walk last Sunday morning I noticed these common spotted Orchids growing in the grass verge at the side of the cycle track.

They are very pretty. I always like to see the wild orchids. There seem to be lots of them around this year :o)

they are wonderful. I love them and they always remind me of my childhood.
the wet summer helped quite a lot of them do well.
