I have lived in my home for 9 years and have a very small north west facing garden that I have recently landscaped. It used to have a garage in - see photos - but I knocked it down to enjoy a bigger space after hubby left. The soil is very heavy clay, but with a lot of hard work is finally beginning to be more fertile. One fence faces south, while the opposite wall is almost permanently in the shade, apart from in the very high summer.

I love what other people have done with their gardens, but just don't know how to 'get the look'!

I am a complete novice to gardening, and really enjoy seeing the results I have had so far. Am really hoping for lots of advice from seasoned folk - please!
