Onionhead's Profile

I live in Pennsylvania with my fiance, but would like to live somewhere warmer and greener. We are currently learning about bonsais and attempting to germinate some redwoods. We also like to sprout things year round in our apartment. Right now I'm trying to convince the cat to try wheatgrass. Someday we will settle down and get to have a real garden, maybe in Oregon. I grew up on a farm and miss large, ripe, homegrown tomatoes very much, although my mother does a good job of mailing me some of the hardier veggies throughout the summer.

I am also doing research for a book that discusses how online social networks are replacing lost social capital and building meaningful global communities. This site is a great example!
