collecting seeds

Now is a good time to start collecting seeds. So far I’ve saved seed from a little blue viola cornuta and from a miniature scabious, also blue. I keep seeds in old envelopes stuck with sellotape, clearly marked. It’s no good keeping them in plastic bags as they need to dry out. I also have a collection of cuttings from here and there (not from private gardens, obviously!!) which I put in small pots, clearly labelled. It’s so easy to forget what they are.
I grow a few streptocarpus. This one’s called Anne, like me!
