New Ponds

For anyone about to build/construct a pond, be it concrete or rubber lining, a small sump proves invaluble.

Just slightly larger than the pump and dug in a corner; this is to effect easier draining for future cleaning.

If using a liner take the sump into consideration when measuring the amount needed.

The pump can be placed in the sump and be more unobtrusive.

Good idea! I always like suggestions that are based on experience, much more useful!
