I have Googled yellow wagtails, and it seems it may well be.

We only get a rare glimpse of pied wagtails round here.

They are my Mum's favourite bird due to the bobbing tail.

think it is a yellow wagtail, is the edge of its tail white, that would confirm it is. Think the male is greener on its back so it could be a female. Did it wag its tail good clue if it did. lol. up and down not side to side lol. You lucky person seeing this, not seen one for years and years, they visit from overseas apparently.

Excellent photo I had one pass by in our garden on Monday but too quick to capture on camera.

I so hope it comes back.
