I have been a member since 2009, and I am just changing my profile. I have a fairly small garden, the sort that goes with a modern house, I have just taken out all the overcrowded bushes and shrubs at the side of my house the builders put in, and made it into a cottage garden, which has created a lot of interest for passers by, being that I have put lots of little butterflies, and ladybirds in it. the children seem to like it anyway. My garden expertise is limited, I just love cottage garden looks favourites are roses and irises. I have lived in Kent, for many years, but originated from London. I have 2 Bedlington dogs, larry and leo. I find this site very helpful and friendly.update won herne bay in bloom with my cottage garden in 2011, going to do a queenie theme for our lovely queen this year. queenie scarecrow here we go.!!
