I have been gardening for many years, in 6 different gardens. We live in Sheffield and I garden in the smallest one we have ever owned. No room for veg growing, but try to grow some in large pots and raised beds. Grow from seed and cuttings using a very small lean-to greenhouse and plastic covered shelves. Two compost heaps, 2 water butts help me to do my bit for the environment. This year I grow Daylias, Lupins, Rudbeckias and a few annuals like Cosmos from seed. We took the lawn up several years ago, now we have flower beds, raised beds and loads of pots surrounded by gravel. The back of the house faces NE, so sometimes I don't have enough sun.
