I am retired and have lived with my wife near Southwell (still don't know how to pronounce it - south well or suth'll)
since 2000. We bought a new house off plan and when shown the developers landscaping proposals decided to take it on ourselves.
Faced with a half acre muddy blank canvas and limited previous experience as a gardener a steep learning curve was called for. It eventually stopped raining in 2001 so we could start work. This winter the chainsaw comes out.....
