Best in show,winning a Farrer medal.

I like the Alliums and have 4 or 5 different ones coming from seed.They'll take a few years to get to that size.
Lewisias need more water than you think when they are in growth.I've never got it right.They can also stop growing when it gets too hot,so watering is cut back and started again when growth restarts.
Most of the Orchids I've seen and photographed at the shows belong to one grower,it's practically all he grows.I've tried to find some of them online but no luck.

the iris are absolutely stunning. the others are also pretty and worthy of pictures.

That is a delightful show of Iris. I'm not too keen on the alliums but the Lewisia look stunning. I do not seem to be able to grow Lewisia. Interesting Orchids too. Thank you for sharing.
