Aren't the plants always stunning at shows? All that cosseting and care produce such glorious plants to drool over. And in the wild nature does it all herself!

A lot of these plants need the care, but my 3 live outside all year.

Well done. The plants are gorgeous. I have that Aquilegia. CR its name off the top of my head but it is a beauty with that two colour trumpet. Phlox are so pretty. Do they last in flower all summer. Arisaema I never did fall in love with but they do not seem to like my garden so I am happy to look at yours.

The Aquilegia is probably A.flabellata, but that's not what it was sown as.Aquilegias cross very easily.
It was supposed to be A.saximontana, but that is notorius for not being that in the seed exchanges.
That Phlox, plus douglasii, subulata and their derivatives would be ideal for your raised bed.Look out for Phlox 'Crackerjack'

Good ideas, thank you. I will keep a look out for them.
