Finally got around to buying a house a year ago, after centuries of renting. A compact three-bed terrace with a decent-sized garden (approx 10 by 10 metres). My girlfriend and I have grand plans for both house and garden, but so far the garden has consumed the lion's share of our time and effort. Planted several trees and fruiting shrubs (3 currants, 2 gooseberries and a tayberry, as well as a 1.5 X 1.5m patch of strawberries), a herb patch, and we're in the process of replacing our very established Privet/Poor Man's Box hedge with lots and lots of fuchsias. But that's brought me almost to my first questions for the forum, so that's probably more than enough...
