Free wood or soil

Hi please can anyone help, I live in bristol, England lol, I am on a very tight buget, i need wood for my allottment and soil, it doesnt seem that the local council, supple any, i need any free wood or soil , if you live in Bristol and have any wood you done want, i will collect, manythanks.

PP, when I need wood I get my dad (lol) to look in the bins at B & Q as they chuck out all there off cuts, also in these parts people often leave paletes from lorrys lying around

also you can go to the tip and they have seperate skips with soil and wood in them, im sure you could take some

Yes I agree with Heron. Freecycle is so useful.. I have just collected a sack full of pots from a Freecycler and I have given away heavy garden tools etc. that I can't use. Freecycle is a brilliant help to Gardeners.

Free cycle would be my suggestion too. Join your local one and post a request also dont forget to read what's on offer. Just make sure nothing you accept is contaminated.

Not sure what you mean by 'wood' try googling 'Freecycle'
