You must know I was going to ask. Why is it called obedient plant?

Apparently, if you turn its flower round a bit, it'll stay in that position!
I haven't actually dared to try, because I'd be sure to break the head off - and I don't want to!

I've just started growing a white one of these and the slugs are having a field day - I'm just about despairing. Where's that hedgehog when you need her? I think I'll have to get ducks again but I never fancy eating their eggs when I've seen them gorging on slugs.

Don't ducks make a mess of the plants as well, though?

Our farmer-neighbour has ducks, and we get given duck eggs...I think I've gone off them all of a sudden! :-(

Perhaps you should rethink lobster then Barbara as they tend to live near sewer outfalls !!! lol :-((

I've never eaten lobsters, Ian, and now I never will! (YUK)...too much information there. :-(
