I absolutely love this flower ! I should try again with adding more to my garden. The last 3 I bought got eaten. And yes, I do see the bee ! Sweat bee I believe. They really hurt if you accidentally pinch them ! But it only lasts for a minute.

If it was squirrels munching your crocosmia maybe you could plant some daffodils in the vicinity...they love tulips but give daphs and narcissi a bye. The narcissus will be finished...but if they start digging and run into the yucky old daphs maybe they'll give up altogether and leave your crocosmia for you... also bloodmeal...they don't like the organic fert.

Nice one, Crocosmia could it be 'Lucifer' it is the most spendid of this genera
