This basket was left by the previous house owner so beginning of last October, along with about 3-4 more baskets left behind, we decided to make our first venture in the garden just to add some colour.

This is the same bedding in June of this year and they are still coming back when I dead-head them.

Going to buy new baskets next year and try and be more adventurous!

Being a complete novice, I assumed being winter bedding and the fact that the label said they would last until March/April, that they would not be here now but they keep coming and different colours every time!

I still get amazed by the whole concept...

Thanks SB. Not sure about the greenfingers but enjoying learning.

Ali has done it before and when we potted these, I was like: 'Ali, I can't do this. My fingers are too big and I'll break the roots and I'm a bloke and cackhanded and........'.

'You'll be fine' she reassured me, and 10 months later, here we are and not far away from our first anniversary in the house. She worried and fretted before and after xmas, as we couldn't get the GH up with weather and work. Then, 'on a clear day'....we did it and within a matter of 2-3 months, we achieved loads. There's even more to do but we have fun doing it and seeing our ideas come to fruition.

Bring it on I say....
