Looks very full and happy.

I cant remember how long I've had it, more years than I care to remember thats for sure :0) Unfortunately I have to cut it back sometimes as it's so close to the front window, Its best in the autumn when the colour is very bright and it draws they eye.

Those cut backs are probably why it is so full like a wave of leaves. Doing it well I think. Great job.

See what you mean Goldie!! Lovely though. When you cut it back, where do you cut? I'm new to all of this so any help is appreciated.

Cracking size though...

Billie I am virtual beginner at gardening, That bush has been there for at least 15 years many-be even 20............. I just lop off where I think it needs it !
Your specimen looks healthy to my untrained eye though........and if you make allowances for growth when you decide on a permanent place for it, then maybe no lopping off will be needed.....

Suppose it's a case of gut instinct to us novices G. I shall just 'lop off' where and if necessary methinks!
