Definately a Dunnock have them in my patch too, like BB says you can tell by their grey chest.

They are Sandra very shy little things scurrying around on the ground most of the time

yes they are always on the ground close to trees, i will catch you later, baz would like to play on his laptop now lol, men! hehe

They always look like a sparrow to me I cant believe how rare the common sparrow has become Im happy to say wifey discovered a nest in our old apple tree

alot smaller than a sparrow davey,your right about sparow becomming rare, but this year ive had alot more for some reason, maybe because i fed them so much lol

We well my partner Lorraine used to feed the birds it was like a wildlife park in our little garden tons of finches tits well that was until the rats moved in, I was out in the garden in daylight & a family of rats appeared climbing accross the bushes - unbelievable!!
So we stopped feeding & £50 of rat poison & traps later our dog decided to explore & we werent sure if he ate some poison so it was an emergency trip to the vet & a £200 bill which was worth it just to have him back again (silly me expected the PDSA to be free & was thinking how much to donate when they said no we just rent the building to provide weekend cover) now we grow fruit bushes just for birds oh & some teasel which is just ready to flower.....bye for now
