He tried really hard to have a soak in the sun. He was there about half an hour. Every time the sun went in he got up, preened a while,ate some fallen seed and plonked himself down again as soon as the sun reappeared. The photos were taken through the window. Amusing to see how quickly he suited his actions to the sunshine'
