Hii Amy, yes I do too. I've just put a question up though as I have a problem with them :-( They look so healthy here but a few of them on the right have like a stem rot problem. The first comment I've received is saying they have blight :-(((( and the affected ones need to be removed. I need to research more but I dont think this horrible weather is helping.

By the look of this photo Dawn you need only remove the affected ones and as said, pop your toms on windowsill to ripen.Fingers crossed the rest will be fine ! You have a lovely crop there !!

Thanks Donnah.
Ray/Amy/Deida: Thanks for the sympathy, sob sob.
I'll get rid of the affected ones, strip the toms and ripen them indoors.

Is it possible to take the good ones outside ..separate from each other so that it dosn,t spread or are the roots right down in the soil ... Just a thought Dawn ........
28 Jul, 2009
From the look of it Dawn, you will have plenty left......you have got so many.......Lol

Thanks for the suggestion Amy :-)
Out of the 24 plants set, only about 4 are affected, so I'l sadly remove the bad ones for now and leave the good ones in the greenhouse. So sad, as you'll know how I feel, I've nurtured these plants from seed :-(
Hi Milky: I agree, we wont starve, lol x

If only four are affected the rest might ripen off and be eaten before it reaches the others .. .. :o)

Hi Lemon, love growing tomatoes, I'll be starting seeds off soon in my heated propagator, on the window sill. I like to get them set in the greenhouse end of May as we get late frosts here.
