Thanks Dotty, i am always changing things, i think it is all part of the fun and needs a bit of a helping hand to mature and develop... after all you can't always predict what things will look like together once the get going can you.

No and it stops us getting bored, and its something to look forward to, I would hate to think I couldnt change the garden planting.........

... yes me too actually, i would hate to move into a house where the garden had already been perfectly designed and maintaned... i would feel that i should'nt change it... and yet i would really want to no matter how perfect it looked... you see them do it all the time on these garden and home DIY shows.... a lot of the time i think the house would sell better if the garden was left as a tidy but blank canvas

MJ yes good idea if you are a gardener, not so good if your not and need someone to do it for you.
Have spent all afternoon re-arranging our big border, now the pond is out have got to come up with something new and interesting.......

why don't you take some pic's DD2 and write a blog for ideas... we all get a bit stuck sometimes or need the insparation don't we.... i pondered for 18 months about the back area of my garden not knowing what to do... i got quite a few good ideas from GOY that i have used and i am now really pleased with how it's coming along
