Quince wine is good too!

Gee, That was what my cellar was originally used for, from about 1982/3 we made so many different wines from home grown fruit, blackberry's blackcurrents, gooseberry's, rhubarb, and my very favourite redcurrant, we also did a home brewed beer,we had racks and rack's of bottled wine's but on the odd occasion when we had put the wine down too soon, we had mini explosions of wine corks popping off in the middle of the night......:0)
We got rid of the bushes about 10 years back, but you have given me another idea for the quinces, as I still have one demi-john left.
Thanks you !

Well this year my redcurrant bushes decided to make a reappearance, some of the fallen fruit seeds must have taken off with all last years rain.........Much to my eldest sons delight as he says he hasn't had Red Current tart In years, and have to agree with him that it is really delicious...........He seems to be under the allusion though that Moi will be baking it for him........:o)
I have just noticed some shrivelled leaves on the apple tree, will try to get a picture so that maybe someone will know what it is.

Ditto Goldie, I noticed yesterday that the leaves on my three year old James Grieve have shrivelled I was wondering if it was because when it was in full blossom we did have a couple of quite hard frosts. I will post a picture and if you do the same maybe we can compare.
