Is that vermiculite ? Do you use it on it's own ? Is it better than compost for germinating seeds ? Sorry for so many questions :o)

Yes Blodyn,,it is vermiculite; no I don't use it on its own; I've never tried it on its own; I just topdress the compost ...ask as many questions as you like :))) Thank you for being interested.....

Thank you . I've often thought of using it but didn't know how.

I find it helps prevent damping off; it soaks up excess moisture . I've noticed another seedling has popped through overnight:))))
