Just a bit of green and blue

Love it - oh to see green again around here!

'Tis a pity Bernieh - but the green over here is fast becoming yellow !!

Around here Terry60, aside from the green leaves on the eucalypts and acacias, everything is pretty much brown - our 'dry' seems to stretch on and on and on. If we drive north a couple of hundred kilometres and go up into the tablelands it's green - a country of contrasts!

Does it remain green like this every year, T60? or has this been a wet year for you too? Everything is usually somewhat parched by August but this year all is lovely and green. Sad about the lack of moisture in some spots...and the surfeit of it in others! wonder when the wonkiness will stop?

This has been a funny Spring/early Summer Lori, very tropical really, so yes things are usually much more parched and burnt at this time of year. Mind you, I heard the locals moaning yesterday about how cracked and dry the soil is down in the valley...

Oh no...I hope the grapes and olives don't suffer.
