I wouldn't even wait for it to turn into a crumble. All you need is some sugar in a bag as a "dip".. :-)

That brings back memories-used to do that as a kid. Sets my teeth on edge just remembering that lol :)

Lol! That was when I was a kid, too. I really prefer it in a crumble, but I never get to make this as no-one else in the family likes it. :-(
