Insect Hotel

This spring and summer has been so busy, I just haven't had time to put anything new on this website but am glad to be able to finally add some stuff for this year. I've been doing quite a bit inthe garden, including making this insect hotel. Amy, my 8 year old daughter helped too. This 4 star insect hotel has a hedgehog house built into the top of it and we are hoping for a local hedgehog to take up residence! I guess you could say the lucky hedgehog with have a buffet onsite!

Thanks Irish and Bernieh ! It was one of those projects that was just inside my head and I am really pleased with how it all worked out.

Love this Dave....such a great idea and they are so expensive to buy them....you do need a name for it though....Lol! Ladybird Lodge.....howszat??

This is such a good idea...so good for the environment, and it will help the garden no end. Very nice.
