Love these...they make a great flan if you add plenty of brown sugar and a little brandy....:o)

Brill. I´ve never really known what to do with them - except eat them of course. Next door´s family love them so most of them go over the wall. The brandy sounds a good idea. I have a small tree that I think is a Membrillo (I don´t know why), I´ve seen Membrillo in a tub in the supermarkets but haven´t a clue what it´s used for. Have you any idea? I´ll have to post a photo of the tree to find out what it really is.

Membrillo is Quince.....those tubs are quince jelly which you can have with meats etc. We had a small tree which had pretty pink and white blossoms in the late Winter but it was in a windy spot and the quinces never set..............
