Spring Peeper

This is a Spring Peeper that I found on a Dahlia leaf one day. I guess I bugged him too much and he jumped to the ground. The way to tell a Spring Peeper from other treefrogs is the big X on their back. It's not very visible in this pic.

Me and my husband love this litte frog. It's so cool to hear their chirping in the spring, but it's hard to find them in the yard, they are very shy.
