these are pretty but the flys love them, so wont have them close to house next year,will stay at the end of garden in wild area

yes they are amy, got them in mixed pack from co-op, were giving them free to encourage bees to gardens

Sandra i've got some of them at bottom of garden and every time i go to shed theres loads of flys

I love wildflowers, got a box from the pound shop and grew some in planters but grew loads individualy too.
it,s the hoverflies that go for mine.

Great photo Sandra - I planted a tray of wild flowers a few months ago. When they were large enough I put them around in pots, in the garden soil, in our troughs with other flowers - not sure exactly which ones they are now!

cheers richard the good thing is they self seed so will be more next year hopefully:o) i have a wild area behind the trees, only small but im trying to just let it do its own thing to encourage wildlife to my garden

Your picture reminded me that we have some sun loungers from the 1970's in out attic! with large yellow and orange flowers on them (similar shape to the flowers on your pic) and the bees always used to come after them when we were sunning ourselves, they were a nuisance-they must have thought they were real flowers !
