A fine looking chicken Tastyg - I've always wanted to keep a few chickens but haven't got the room.My grandfather used to keep quite a lot and always had a good supply of fresh eggs.

I finally got her, she was after some feed. My friends just love their chickens, the "girls" as they call them and fresh eggs galore! This is Betsie, if not mistaken...one of their favs :)

I expect Rexi would give Betsie and the 'girls' the 'run around' if you took him when you visit your friends Tastyg ! :-)

Oh boy would she! Her breed is bred to herd cattle so yes, she's a chaser ;~) She's nearly completely blind, but she'd sniff 'em out!

Oops Sorry tasteyg I thought Rexi was a he!. I see from your picture that you had a nice sunny day out there in California our weather shall we say 'Could be a bit better!' nevermind.. the rain is good for the flowers and the veg! :-)

Richard- It's been very nice here lately. Hope you get some sunshine :)
Doon- I think that they'll eat everything in site! It's my friends garden and they have fenced in their own section.

We had some sun today Tasteyg but it was quite windy- I've been helping my daughter to paint her rabbit hutches and trying to stop things blowing on to the paint - not a clever idea painting in the wind!

Richard- Glad to hear you got some sunshine. Yeah, wind and painting doesn't work out so well. I'm sure the bunnies won't mind though :) We could sure use some rain here. There have been wildfires burning a couple hours from us. I hope that they get it under control soon...so many lives devastated.

Yes I hope that the fires are soon put out there Tastyg, it must be quite a concern for all especially at this time of year, and for the people that have lost their things.
We have finished painting the rabbit hutches and my daughter is gettting another rabbit from the RSPCAon Friday to keep her other one company!
