no it's not Morgana... but i can see why you think that... it also looks a bit like a passiflora i think too... but this is a rather unusual variety of Nigella..

Your welcome

Mine came in a pack i bought from wilkos i think... i bought a mixed variety pack with about 7 or 8 different ones, including the yellow ones and these... they have been really good for me this year... i will be saving some seed .... if the pods have them, they are completely different to the other normal varieties that you see, i gues they must set seed as i grew them from seed... if so i'll save some for you.

Thanks. We know that THEY germinated, then, don't we - unlike some others! :-)

I do hope the seed heads aren't anything like last year's!! Hopeless!!
No sign of seedlings from them. either, so a dead loss there. :-(

did i send you some that did'nt work Spritz?.... cos mine were all fine and same seed.... i can't remeber if i sent you love-in-a-mist or not... but not this variety as this is the first time i have grown this one....

No - I meant the purple ones I grew from a T&M packet and we discussed them last year. I was going to try to get seeds from them, but it proved impossible. The seedheads just curled up like little horns and died - no seeds at all. :-(

sounds like there was a defo problem with the seeds.... maybe a virus or something? typical T & M..... i'll send you a selection of mine if you like... i have had really good results this year...

NOT those yellow ones, though, pur-leeze, Angie! Purple/pink/blue, GREAT!!! (I thought they were a bit weird, didn't you?)
